Thanks to our volunteers and the invaluable talent of Crystal Theatre staff, students, and parents, this was the best year ever for this event with an estimated 300 attendees! Our appreciation should especially be expressed to Cheryl and Alexandra Kemeny, and Mariner Pezza for taking on this event. We hope to see them again at next year's Harvest Festival, along with the Crystal Theatre troupe.
We also owe thanks to the members of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Ray Spurr and Norwalk Boy Scout Troop 19, Wyatt Whiteman, our outdoor cook who prepared oyster stew (and his daughter Indiana), Chef Jehan de Noue for his open-hearth cooking, and, specifically, the NHS board members who made time to prepare food and assist: Jenny and John Harrington, Tod Bryant, Dick Ventre, Eileen Harrington, Steve Berizzi (who manned the POKO street fair table for NHS), Gail Wall, John Wall, George Jackson, volunteer Lauren Kruse, and of course, our new Executive Director, VivianLea Stevens, who outdid herself as the public face of NHS. |
